Hefei Guoxuan is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guoxuan Hi-Tech, founded in May 2006, engaged in the independent research and development, production and sales of new energy vehicle power lithium-ion batteries, etc. Liuzhou Guoxuan Hi-Tech is one of its ten largest production bases in China.

This spring, Liuzhou Guoxuan Hi-Tech production base construction upgrades, Nedis and its reached the No. 3 plant clean workshop floor construction cooperation, and on May 22nd officially into the field.

Construction background

There are 3 buildings in the first phase of Liuzhou Guoxuan Hi-Tech, in which the clean workshop of No.1 workshop used epoxy flooring, which appeared to have a large area of shelling after a period of time, and the wear resistance was not ideal, and the clean workshop of No.2 workshop used epoxy super wear-resistant flooring, which also appeared to have shelling phenomenon, which made the owner have a big headache, and therefore put forward a higher requirement for the flooring of No.3 clean workshop.

Construction difficulties

Lithium battery clean plant on the production environment is extremely demanding, only flooring materials, facing the following requirements:

- To meet the high efficiency of AGV operation, the workshop floor requires high flatness and high wear resistance.

- Dense surface, high hardness, strong anti-scratch properties

- Resistant to most of the acid, alkali, salt and other chemical media erosion

- The material is water-based and environmentally friendly, ensuring a green and clean production environment.

- The flooring material must be fireproof, flame retardant and anti-static.

The solution

Nedis customized the flooring solution according to the characteristics, performance and efficiency requirements of the clean plant flooring in Liuzhou production base, and together with the owner, finalized the adoption of Nedis polyurethane super wear-resistant flooring system.

- Resistant to artificial climate aging (yellowing), weak acid and alkali resistance

Project Highlights

1, in the treatment of the base surface, the use of heavy-duty grinder plus 16 mesh depth grinding, so that the epoxy primer better attached to the curing floor.

2、After completing the epoxy medium coating, the construction of the floor was suspended for two months due to the installation of equipment by the owner. During the period, the ground withstood the transportation and installation of various heavy equipment, there was no deep scratches and shelling, only slight scratches.

3、After the topcoat construction was completed, the owner used iron pieces to carry out violent tests, Nedis polyurethane super wear-resistant flooring withstood all kinds of tests without any quality problems, and won the owner's high praise.
