Ningbo Tianyi Medical Instruments Co., Ltd., a leading domestic medical device R&D and manufacturing enterprise, has stringent requirements for the cleanliness, durability, and functionality of floor materials in its new factory building. In this ground upgrade project, the project party selected the Nedis self-leveling colored sand floor system. Through innovative designs featuring high cleanliness, anti-static properties, and antibacterial and anti-fouling capabilities, it has created a floor solution for medical device production workshops that combines safety, aesthetics, and long-term maintainability, fully meeting the high standards of the ISO 13485 quality management system for sterile environments and process precision. The Nedis self-leveling colored sand floor uses water-based epoxy resin as its base material, incorporating natural mineral colored sand and antibacterial additives. Through a self-leveling process, it forms a seamless, mirror-like smooth surface, completely eliminating floor gaps and hiding dirt. Coupled with its low particle emission characteristics, it can effectively control the concentration of airborne particles, meeting the GMP standards for medical device cleanrooms. Addressing scenarios in medical device production where frequent contact with disinfectants, high-temperature steam, and organic solvents occurs, this system ensures the floor remains unchanged in color and does not age through its acid and alkali resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, ensuring long-term use.
