Red Bull, a globally renowned energy drink brand, sets high standards for its production environment, extending beyond equipment and processes to encompass the functionality and safety of its flooring systems. To meet the demands of beverage production workshops for cleanliness, durability, and environmental friendliness, Red Bull employed the Nedis water-based polyurethane mortar flooring system in its factory floor upgrade project. This system utilizes water-based polyurethane resin as its core, incorporating select aggregates and an anti-slip texture design. Functionally, the system particularly enhances impermeability and anti-slip performance—its dense molecular structure effectively prevents liquid penetration, stopping oil stains, syrup, and other contaminants from seeping into the base layer. Meanwhile, the surface, treated with a special granular texture, provides stable anti-slip performance even in damp environments, reducing employee operational risks. Addressing the high-temperature cleaning processes common in beverage production, the system boasts resistance to thermal shock, withstanding steam cleaning and alternating hot and cold conditions to ensure long-term floor stability without cracking. Furthermore, its seamless, integrated construction process eliminates the hidden dangers of traditional floor joints, and the high-gloss surface facilitates high-frequency cleaning, meeting the zero-tolerance requirement for hygiene blind spots. In terms of environmental compatibility, the system uses a water-based formula, with no solvent volatilization during construction and extremely low VOC emissions. This not only meets the environmental standards for food-grade flooring but also provides a healthy, non-irritating work environment for employees.
