Xiamen Pumped Storage Power Station - Generator Room Area
The Xiamen Pumped Storage Power Station, a "green power bank," leverages its unique peak-shaving and valley-filling operating principle. It stores energy during periods of abundant renewable energy output or low electricity demand and releases it flexibly during peak demand, significantly improving the power system's regulation capacity and stability. In this national key project, the Nedis epoxy terrazzo flooring system was used for the ground inside the underground powerhouse. Its high-performance characteristics are highly compatible with the demanding industrial environment. The system's core advantage is its seamless design, perfectly matching the large-span structural characteristics of the power station's powerhouse. This eliminates the hidden dangers of dirt accumulation or water seepage at joints, providing a highly flat base for heavy equipment installation and maintenance. Its surface has a "mirror-like effect," not only enhancing visual cleanliness but also effectively resisting moisture erosion in the underground humid environment through a high-density coating. It also withstands equipment oil stains and chemical media, requiring only simple washing for maintenance. Compared with conventional industrial flooring, epoxy terrazzo also exhibits excellent heavy load and impact resistance, capable of withstanding the mechanical load of generator set installation and maintenance on rock anchor beams for a long time. Its durability complements the power station's design concept of "embroidery on rocks," reflecting its meticulous construction.
